🤑 Money Shot: : The government's space fund finally wrote a cheque. It went to Dhruva Space.

Hyderabad's Dhruva Space picked up ₹60 crore, roughly $6.3 million, from the Antariksh Venture Capital Fund. That is the very first investment out of the ₹1,600 crore fund, anchored by a ₹1,000 crore commitment from space regulator IN-SPACe and managed by SIDBI. The money is part of an ongoing pre-Series B that now stands at ₹275 crore. Dhruva says its order book is over ₹500 crore.

🤖 Big Drop: OpenAI shipped GPT-5.6 and a tool that does your office job.
OpenAI released GPT-5.6 in three sizes, Sol, Terra and Luna, after a delayed rollout tied to US government review of its cybersecurity capabilities. Alongside it came ChatGPT Work, an agent that pulls context from your connected apps and files and produces documents, spreadsheets, presentations and small web apps. Altman says the flagship is 54% more token efficient on coding tasks. OpenAI says the cheapest tier can match the biggest one on plenty of jobs.

The interesting number is not the benchmark. It is the price. Everyone is now competing on cost per task, not on cleverness. Which means the AI wrapper you were worried about building just got cheaper to run and harder to defend. Build on the workflow, not the model.

📚 Sortmyprep raised about $350,000. The AI tutor startup, earlier backed by BITS Pilani's PIEDS incubator, closed a pre-seed from Indian and global angels. It says 71% of its users came through referrals and word of mouth.
